What’s hidden in those drawers? What’s lurking behind cabinet doors? Museums never have enough space to display all their artifacts at one time. Those not displayed are stored for future use. Maybe you have already visited the museum and think you’ve seen everything. Well, visit again and ask to see what’s in a drawer or a closet. You’ll be surprised!
Honoring Opal Clark – Opal, a long-time resident of Phillipston, was involved in many of the town’s boards and commissions and was a member of the historical society. She was a ‘get-it-done’ woman who worked closely with Curator Jane French and Historian Terri Johnson. This season we showcase many of her contributions with a Search and Find game. Visit the museum and see if you can find all the ways she has contributed to the town.
You can visit the museum during open hours or call Jane (978-249-4356) to arrange a special visit. Next Society Meeting – We generally hold our meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Next meeting is Tuesday, July 15th at 7:00 PM in the Congregational Church vestry.
