Society Meeting
6:30 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Congregational Church Vestry
Join us at our next Society meeting. Note the new time (6:30 PM). Catch up on what’s happened over the winter, and set some plans for the summer.
Agenda includes: New displays for the 250th celebration; CPC grant proposals; Annual Meeting; recommendations for new board and committee members; program suggestions and plans. We are working hard on displays for the upcoming season and need your help. The theme is the 250th anniversary of the United States.
– Do you have a relative who fought – or helped fight (e.g. women) — in the American Revolution? They don’t have to be from Phillipston. Just have to have a connection to Phillipston, e.g. you. We have collected names from the town records and are looking for more. And we are looking for stories.
– Do you know anything about the cannon from Ticonderoga and the road it took through town on its way to Boston? Many parts of the road are discontinued and now part of private property. Was your house on the route it took?
– Do you have a battle flag, or know of battle flags?
– Do you have another idea for a display? An activity? A game?
– Would you be interested in helping to put displays together?
We need your help!
